Directions for use
----------------
WolfMaker 2.0 generates random levels for Wolfenstein 3D First
Encounter and Second Encounter.
System requirements
-------------------
WolfMaker 2.0 requires WolfEdit and system 7.0.0 or later.
Quick start
----------
First choose the number of rooms and the difficulty of the level.
Press the button "Create level", the random level is now in the
WolfEdit scrap. Open WolfEdit, create a new level and past.
After pasting the random map, you have to click with the pen on
the new map so that WolfEdit saves change.
To play the random level, use the Install command of WolfEdit.
Parameters adjustement
----------------------
I have not Wolf3D Second Encounter.
The adjustement of WolfMaker parameters is very simple.
- First make a copy of WolfMaker 2.0
- Open the resource fork of this copy with ResEdit
- WolfMaker contains 2 resources: "Levl" numbered 129 and
"Enem" numbered 128. The resource "Levl" numbered 128 is used for
the First Encounter.
- The resource "Levl" 129 fixes for every level the number of SS,
brown uniforms, Boss... You can modify these parameters.
- The resource "Enem" contains for every guard the code and
ammunitions you need to kill him.
Exemple:"Code of the enemy: $7170 " ( This is the code of the Blue Boss )
"Code of the first ammo needed: $2A70 " ( Code of ammunition box )
"Nb of first ammo: 2 " ( You need at least 2 ammunition box
to kill the Blue Boss)
"Code of the second ammo needed: $2F70 " ( Code of gatling gun )
"Nb of second ammo: 1 ( You need at least 1 gatling gun
to kill the Blue Boss)
All item codes you need is written at the bottom of this document.
The total number of guards is limited to 127 and the number of objects is
limited to 200.
Warning: WolfEdit1.1 has a bug, 2nd Encounter guards are not guards
but objects. So the total number of Second Encounter guards and objects
is limited to 200.
Thanks to send me these two resources "Levl" 129 and "Enem" 128. These resources
will be incorporated in the next version of WolfMaker.
